About this trip

Goa's north and south are different holidays. Two nights in the north cover Calangute and Baga's beach shacks, Fort Aguada's 17th-century Portuguese bastion, the Anjuna or Arpora night market and water sports at Candolim. A day inland visits Old Goa, where the Basilica of Bom Jesus holds the remains of St Francis Xavier and stands with the Se Cathedral in a UNESCO World Heritage group, then a spice plantation lunch and the Dudhsagar waterfall viewpoint in the monsoon months. Two nights in the south move to Colva, Benaulim or Palolem for calmer beaches, a dolphin-spotting boat and the Cabo de Rama fort. Panaji's Latin Quarter of Fontainhas is on the way between the two. Hotels, meals and inclusions are set by the supplier and listed for confirmation.
